World after Afghanistan, Auxus, Evergrande – Iulian Chifu, Kiran Bhatti

The technological evolution, and especially of social media, has come with tremendous advantages for the citizens: internet connections, access to infinite information at practically no costs, possibilities of connecting and finding people we never knew but which have common problems and common aspirations or beliefs. At the same time, even though we begin to use extensively technology and social media at the very early ages, nobody undertook the needed social and psychological studies linked with the consequences of this tremendous evolution. – Iulian Chifu n The leaders of Australia (AU), the United Kingdom (UK), and the United States (US) signed an agreement, on September 15, 2021, that officially inaugurated the AUKUS security alliance which addresses regional security at all levels. The alliance was formed in response to the region’s growing challenges which many have attributed to the global order’s shift. – Kiran Bhatti
